Meet Dr. Shaarda

Todd E. Shaarda DVM

Todd E. Shaarda is an Independent Veterinarian in West Michigan Practicing Equine Medicine. He has been in practice since 2001. Continuing his education in Ophthalmology, Advanced Lameness, Reproduction, Neonatology, Ultrasound, Surgical cases of Colic, and Infectious Diseases, to offer the most accurate diagnosis and treatment for his patients.

Life being centered around horses since childhood. Shown or ridden in Western, English, Reining, and Cutting. NRHA 2002 Eastern Affiliate Champion Novice Horse Non-Pro Affiliate Champion.

Kelly

Kelly has been working alongside us throughout the growth of Cannon Equine, and we are grateful for the experience and dedication she brings to our practice.

With years of hands-on horse experience, Kelly has a strong understanding of equine care, handling, and behavior. Her background in training horses, along with her calm and capable approach during treatments, makes her a valuable asset to both our team and our patients.

Kelly’s knowledge, patience, and ability to confidently handle horses help support safe, effective care during veterinary visits. We are proud to have her as part of the Cannon Equine team.

Meet Roni

Roni

Roni joined the Cannon Equine team to assist with client communication, scheduling, billing, and daily office operations. She works closely with Dr. Shaarda to help ensure our practice runs efficiently while providing exceptional service to our clients.

With several years of experience working in West Michigan equine facilities, Roni brings valuable horse knowledge and a genuine passion for the equine industry. Her friendly approach, attention to detail, and commitment to excellent client care make her an important part of the Cannon Equine team.
